What's New for 2026 Chevrolet Cars?
While Chevrolet is best known in Lane County for its SUVs and trucks, we still have some updates to announce for Chevy's 2026 car lineup that Corvallis drivers will want to know about:
- 2025 was the final model year for the Chevy Malibu midsize sedan. It has been discontinued for 2026.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette gets several major updates for the new model year. A 14-inch touchscreen now comes standard, and pairs with a 12.7-inch digital gauge display. New upholstery color options include gray, orange, blue, and dark brown. New exterior paint color options include Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver.
- The hybrid 2026 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray gets the same interior updates as the gas-powered Corvette. The Corvette E-Ray also now gets body-color rocker panels, while blue-painted brake calipers are available.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Z71 get similar updates to the Corvette E-Ray, including body-color rocker panels and new infotainment systems. The Z71 also gains a new Z71X hybrid model that generates a jaw-dropping 1,250 horsepower.
What's New for 2026 Chevrolet SUVs?
Chevrolet's lineup of SUVs ranges from nimble compact crossovers to cavernous three-row SUVs. Here are the updates to 2026 Chevy SUVs:
- The 2026 Chevrolet Trax and Trailblazer compact SUVs get two new paint color options: White Sands and Apex Red.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox also adds Polar White to the color lineup, and the interior gains a standard selector dial.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV has discontinued the version of the RS trim with rear-wheel drive; front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions are still available.
- The all-new 2027 Chevrolet Bolt EV rejoins the Chevy lineup after being discontinued in 2023. We will let you know more about the features and specs of the new Bolt EV as they emerge.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV gains vehicle-to-home charging capability. That means you can use your Equinox EV to power utilities. The Equinox EV now offers an available North American Charging System (NACS) adapter, greatly expanding the number of charging stations you can use.
- The 2026 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban three-row, full-size SUVs offer new paint colors. Both models also offer Chevy's Dark Essentials package on the RST trims.
What's New for 2026 Chevrolet Trucks?
Chevrolet's iconic lineup of trucks is beloved by Eugene drivers for many reasons. Updates to 2026 Chevy trucks include:
- The midsize 2026 Chevrolet Colorado also adds White Sands to the paint color lineup. It also gets two new wheel designs.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 gets some minor updates. The off-road-optimized ZR2 trim now comes standard with the Technology package and the Multi-Flex tailgate. A performance exhaust is now available for select trims.
- The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD also add the Technology package and Multi-Flex tailgate to the ZR2 trim.
- The Chevrolet Silverado EV gets two new trims as the Extended and Max Range Trail Boss trims join the lineup. The Trail Boss models feature a new Terrain drive mode, which joins the Sidewinder and Off-Road modes. Terrain mode offers improved low-speed traction and four-wheel steering.
